Join Country & Western Dance Classes at ANC!

Beginning Line Dance

If you enjoy listening to country-western music, getting great exercise and being with friends, you may get a kick out of country and western dancing.  Once you get a few lessons under your belt from veteran Country and Western dance instructors, Gay and John, you will have enough confidence for a night of dancing.  Dances taught:  Beep Beep, Electric Slide, Honky Tonk Stomp, Cowboy Charleston, Cajun Slap, Sun Flower, Cajun Thang, Flying “8”, Little Black Book, Cotton Eyed Joe,Sidewinder, Stroll Along Cha Cha, Texas Waltz, Cherokee Boogie, and Rocket!   (8 sessions) Fee $69

Location: Clean Fun Club/Bly.WalkerPark

Date: Mon., Jan. 25 – Mar. 15                               

Time:  7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

 Advanced Line Dance

Line dancing is great for the mind, body and spirit!  Grab a friend and come learn such favorites as the Catfish, Homey Twist, Kansas City, Down Pour, Thanks a Lot, Sea Legs, Boot Scootin Boogie, San Antonio Stroll, Some Beach, Hillynut, Duck Soup, Country Boy, Hog Wild, Cabo San Lucas, Blue Roses, Mister In Between, I Love a Rainy Night, Hustle, Chaka Chaka, Gigilo, and Good Times.  (8 sessions) Fee $69

Location: Clean Fun Club/Bly Walker Park

Date: Tues., Jan. 26 – Mar. 16 

Time: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

 Couple Dancing

Dance the country & western dances that are taking the country by storm.  Learn the 6 Step, 2 Step, Polka, Cotton-Eyed Joe, Waltz, 10-Step Polka, Sweetheart Schottische, Easy Stroll, Cowboy Cha-Cha, Traveling Cha-Cha, My Kind of Girl, Rose, Butterfly Waltz, East and West Coast Swing, The Bump, Butterfly Waltz, Waltz Across Texas, & MORE! Enroll by couples only.  (8 sessions) Fee $104 couple

Date: Thurs., Jan. 28 – Mar. 18

Let us help you with your New Year Resolutions.

Did you resolve to become more fit? We are offering Zumba, Yogalates and memberships to the Briggs/Seabaugh Wellness Center. We have classes in Tennis and Taekwondo.

Did you promise to learn something new? We offer The Game of Chess, Card Making, Scrapbooking, Genealogy Workshops, Conversational Spanish and American Sign Language, Video Production, and Digital Camera basics.

Do you want to uncover your musical talent? We are offering Adult Class Piano, Children’s Class Piano,  and Beginning and Intermediate Acoustic Guitar.

Did you resolve to learn to dance? We have ballroom dance, Country and Western line dance and couple dance.

Did you resolve to become more computer literate? We have classes in Computer Basics, Windows Vista Basics, and Internet and Email. We offer eBay classes for the beginners and the eBay Pros.

Want to improve your culinary skills? Join our cake decorating class or our cooking class with Chef Abby Houseworth: “Company’s Coming!”
