New Baseball Camp Date: Saturday, May 16

 Improve your baseball skills at ANC’s Baseball Camp. The Department of Continuing and Community Education at Arkansas Northeastern College will offer Baseball Camp on Saturday, May 16 at the Thunder Bayou Sports Complex.  Ages 7 – 10 will meet 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and ages 11 – 14 meet 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The fee is $35. Registration deadline is Wednesday, May 13.

The baseball players will focus on hitting, fielding, throwing mechanics and fielding drills to accomplish your baseball goals.  Coach Blake Burnside, Blytheville High School Baseball Coach, played a baseball for 2 years at Dyersburg State Community College and 2 years at University of Missouri, St. Louis. Let Coach Burnside help you step up to the plate with confidence this season. Be a part of the excitement and join us on the playing field at Thunder Bayou Sports Complex. Please bring bats, gloves, and bottled water.

New Zumba Class to Start

Come join us for Zumba on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting May 5 to June 4 from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. The fee is $37. Zumba is like no other workout you will ever experience. Firearm Safety and Markmanship

Learn proper gun handling to promote firearm safety while developing marksmanship. Course includes instruction on safety and operation of guns plus hands-on training at the firing range. Bring guns and ammunition to the range only.  Meets requirements for concealed handgun permit. Captain Rick Ash and Captain Barry Miller will instruct the class.

In celebration of Administrative Professionals Day, Arkansas Northeastern College’s Department of Continuing & Community Education would like to invite you to our first “Women’s Expo with Fashion”.   Treat your secretary or yourself and come celebrate with us.

Come enjoy a festive atmosphere with your friends, a fashion show with informal modeling and a spring luncheon with an array of delicious salads and desserts.  In addition to all of this, there will be local retail merchants providing exhibits with everything under the sun for women.

Showcasing their spring and summer line of fine clothing and accessories with informal modeling will be The New York Store, Dressing Up Main, Merle Norman and Walmart.  You will see flattering looks that go beyond the black dress or suit.
