The Department of Community Education at Arkansas Northeastern College will offer American Sign Language. Christie O’Neal will teach the class on Thursdays, February 7 to March 14, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. on the ANC Blytheville campus. Student can purchase book on first day of class. The fee is $59.
American Sign Language is the primary language for thousands of hearing impaired Americans. Students will acquire an impressive vocabulary of signs along with finger spelling skills. Upon successful completion, the student will be able to ask and give directions and make limited small talk in American Sign Language. Textbook supplied through Arkansas Northeastern College bookstore.
